The frequency of counseling sessions with One Foot Forward will depend on your individual needs and goals. Some clients may benefit from weekly sessions, while others may attend bi-weekly or monthly.
Sessions are 1 hour. However, some types of therapy or specific situations may require longer sessions. We will discuss the duration based on your needs.

If you are in immediate distress or experiencing a mental health emergency, please dial 911 or visit your nearest emergency room. We also recommend contacting a crisis helpline or texting a helpline in your area for immediate support.
Counseling can be helpful if you’re struggling with mental health issues, relationship problems, or life transitions. If you’re unsure, we encourage you to schedule a 20-minute consultation. In which, I help assess your needs and guide you toward the best course of action.
Yes! We offer secure online counselling via video or phone calls through an online software program (e.g. Jane App). Allowing you to receive support for the comfort of your home. Please contact us to learn more about the options available.
Yes! As a Canadian Certified Counsellor, many insurance companies cover part or in full. Please refer to your insurance company to confirm you are covered for therapy.
